Kathy, that is the sad part.....we have no idea when he died or where. In 1936 my mother and grandparents went to Leadville,Colorado from Florida to look for work. One day while my grandmother was at work my grandfather took my mother and went to Ouray, Colorado to look for a job. My mother got sick and he left my mother with a doctor in Colorado to find a job and that was the last time she saw him. When he did not return the doctor reported him missing and the law sent my mother home to Holt, Florida to my live with my great-grandmother until my grandmother could get back from Colorado. My mother was 8 years old. Other than posting I have run out of ideas. I only know his birth date and birth place and he had two half brothers, one of the brothers had a daughter with a mental handicap who lived in Laurel, Mississippi.
