Inman Busby was the son of William Reese Busby and Mary Winn. He lived and married in the Houston Co -Bibb Co- Crawford County area and married Penelope Wood. He moved to Alabama by 1869 as witnessed in the deed: Oct 18, 1869: Isaiah Johnson purchased 40 acres of Lot #42 from Philip Scofield of Houston Co and Inman Busbay of Randolph Co. Ala. (for $160).
