Glenda, I am looking for a Rebecca Busby who was the 2nd wife of a William W. Groover, born 1809 in Ga. His first wife was an Elizabeth Bird Heard, born 1813 in Ga. She had a sister, Sarah Fitzpatrick Heard, born 1810 in unknown location who married a Sterling Sims. Sarah and Sterling came to central Tx (the Freestone Co., Tx area) and I was told founded the town of Simsboro, Tx. Sarah died in 1865 and is buried in Cotton Gin Cemetery in Cotton Gin, Tx, just down the road from Simsboro. I thought it a little odd that the names of Busby and Sims are connected to your family line and also to mine. Do you think that Eveline Sims and Sterling Sims could be somehow related? Just thought I would ask.
