Someone sent me this obit for Benjamin Busby. My ancestor Reese Busby b circa 1775 was supposed to be his son. Named in Benjamin's will, the problem is that if the Obit is true Benjamin would have been born in 1700 and Reese was born in 1775, is it likely for a 75 year old man to father an infant? Of course, if he lived to be 115 years old - then he may have been virile til at least 80. He was also supposed to be in the Revolutionary War...at 76? How accurate would a newspaperman have been?? Thanks Gaila Benjamin Busby: Found a obit notice for a Benjamin Busby in the Edgefield, SC obit book. Here is what is printed.
