    2. Dear Glenda, My John Busby, appeared in Maryland in the 1700's. Other branches of the Family; Price,Merryman, Gist, Wisner, etc., appeared earlier, approximately early 1600's. My main objective right now, is to find where John Busby came from and when. It's possible he may have settled in Virginia, Pennsylvania or just immigrated right to Maryland. John BusbySr., about 1791 in Baltimore County, Maryland. He married Edith Price abt. 1774. She was the daughter of Benjamin Price and Millicent Vaughn. John and Edith had 11 children. Abraham Busby had received a Land Grant from the U. S. Government for his participation in the War of 1812. John Busby, Jr., already settled in Harrison County in the early 1800s. He was born abt. 1776 in Baltimore County, Maryland. He married Agnes Wisner in 1801. Agnes was the daughter of Mathias and Manon Wisner. Until his Mother Edith's death, she resided with him and his family. John Busby, Jr., in 1853 in Ohio. John and Agnes had 14 children. Busby Anna Busby Our line comes from John W. Busby. He was born March 28,1806 in Harrison County, Ohio. He married Anna Merriman April 24, 1826. Anna's parents are still a mystery...would appreciate any help there. John W. and Anna had 14 children. John M.
