I have lost track of who the individual is that is doing the lookup of Southern Busbys - Jan? Ann? Jodi? (I have seen references to all names - sorry). I am looking for John A. BUSBY who is believed to have been born in TN in 1817 (per census). He married Rebecca JONES on October 15, 1840 in Shelby Co., AL and appears on several census in Shelby Co. It is possible that John is the son of Meredith and grandson of Needham - but I have yet to prove this.
