OK cousins, I'm still out here trying to verify my Nimrod's parents. Listed below is the census info I have from 1860 in Oktibbah co., Miss. I'll call the Senior Nimrod #1 and my great grandfather Nimrod #2 :-) I am trying to find anything showing that Nimrod I's father was Stephen Buzbee from S.C. Ira 16 1844 Calvin 15 1845 Mary 13 1847 Stephen 12 1848 Benjamin 10 1850 Nimrod 8 1852 My great grandfather Rachel 82 S.C. about 1778 I'm convinced this has to be the Rachel Rambo - yes/no??? A cousin has told me that he found Rachel living with a daughter Martha Montgomery in 1850 but don't have the county. This same cousin has told me that Nimrod's father was Stephen. I haven't been able to get any documentation on that however. Now since Nimrod was alive in 1860, he couldn't have died in much before the civil war started. My Stephen was in the confederate army and I got copies of his records. He was married but had no children and is buried in either Drew or Ashley Co, Ark.
