Hello all, I have traced my Busbee line back to EZEKIEL BUSBEE b. abt 1760 d.1823 in Bladen, North Carolina. The only child that I have for him is his son EZEKIEL BUSBEE, JR. b.1800 in Bladen, North Carolina, d.abt 1848 in Randolph Co., Arkansas. Ezekiel Busbee Sr. is on the Census for Bladen Co., for the years 1790, 1800 and 1810. 1790 Census shows with him in house hold, 2 males over 16 years old, 5 females. So I know that he had more children..... Ezekiel Busbee, Jr is on the 1820 Census for Bladen Co., North Carolina, 1830 Census for Ripley Co., Indiana and 1840 Census for Ripley Co., Indiana. They moved to Ripley Co., Indiana in 1834 and then to Randolph Co., Arkansas in 1845. Ezekiel Jr. married Judah JONES abt 1818 in Bladen, NC, she was born abt 1802 in NC and died prior to October of 1840, in Ripley Co., IN. Ezekiel and Judah had the following children: 1.....Charity Busbee b. 1819 in Bladen, NC. d. prior to 1880 in Howard Co., IN. Married Uriah COLLINS on June 13, 1830 in Ripley Co., IN 2.....Barney Busbee b. 1822 in Bladen, NC. d. May 6, 1908 in Howard Co., IN. Married a Melinda (last name unknown), abt 1843 in Indiana 3.....Daniel Busbee b. 1825-1831 ..... no further information 4.....George Busbee b. 1827-1833 in NC. or IN. d. prior to July 6, 1870 in Missouri. Married Sarah COPELAND on Aug 18, 1845 in Missouri. Sarah b. abt 1845 in Tennessee and d. prior to June 25, 1867 in Missouri..... George married 2nd time to Martha Jane BRIDGES on June 25, 1867 in Polk Co., Missouri. Martha Jane b. abt 1837 in Illinois. 5.....James Busbee b. 1835 in Ripley Co., Indiana ..... no further information 6.....Moses Lelander Busbee b. July 27, 1837 in Ripley Co., Indiana. d. Jan 29, 1930 in Vernon Co., Missouri. Married Ester Elizabeth DRINNEN on/about March 4, 1858 in Vernon Co., Missouri. Ester b. March 31, 1831 in Jefferson Co., Tennessee and d. Feb. 29, 1908 in Vernon Co., MO. Moses and Ester had 5 children: William Andrew, Sarah Franses, Martha Ann, Charles Barney and Rhoda. All were born in Vernon Co., Missouri. William Andrew Busbee b. Jan.8, 1860 married Minnie May SHIRLEY Sarah Frances Busbee b. July 14, 1861 married Lewis F. CORBIN Martha Ann Busbee b. July 12, 1864 married Boone SMART Charles Barney Busbee b. Dec. 18, 1866 married Frances Caldonia HALE Rhoda Busbee b. Aug. 26, 1869 married Samuel Jeremiah HALE (a brother to Frances Caldonia HALE) My line continues through the children of Rhoda BUSBEE and Samuel Jeremiah HALE: two children: Anna Pearl HALE and Willard Jeremiah HALE, Sr. If anyone recognizes any of these BUSBEE's or related families, I would love to share information.
