James Busby died in October, 1847 in Pontotoc Co.. MS. His son Merideth died between 1840--1846. The division of the estate of James Busby lists Minerva, widow of Meredith, son of James. Meredith was born about 1804, probably in Giles or Shelby Co.. TN. He married Minerva Hunt on June 18, 1826 in Shelby Co.. Children of Meredith and Minerva were: Richard, James C., Columbus, Harriot, Jasper, Cynthia Margaret, Jeremiah, Levi P. and Delilah Ann Mildred, my great-great grandmother.
