I am interested in the family of Mark Busby, listed on the 1850 census of Richland County, South Carolina. In the household are his wife (I presume), Rebecca, and children Jane E., Robert, John, Madison, Harriet, Sarah and Edmund and Mary Ruff (also minors). The collateral line is the Jacob Ramsey family, listed on the same census. Jane Busby married Robert Ramsey, son of Jacob Ramsey. In 1860, Rebecca, Sarah, and Madison are in Calhoun County, Alabama, along with Robert Ramsey and Jane. Don't know what happened to the others and have lost these by 1870. Will appreciate any help.
