D 12 MO Cavalry captured at Campbellville, Tenn., Nov. 24, 1864, in the retreat to Franklin. Co. "D" was known in this section as Capt. Richard's but at the time of the capture was not in his command, Capt. Richard being in command of a battalion which was engaged in the hottest fight in Tenn. Co.
