Seeking any informtion about Matthew Busby of Adair Co, Ky. Trying to prove that Matthew married Saluda Tinsley 4 Feb 1803 in Amherst, VA and migrated to KY. Possible lineage: Matthew Busby m. Saluda Tinsley, 4 Feb 1803 Amherst, Va. Child: Matilda Busby m. Martin W. Banks 10 June 1841 Adair Co, Ky Child: Mary Margaret Banks m. Reuben Manning 11 Dec. 1855 Freestone Co, TX Child: Saluda A. Manning, shown on 1860 Freestone Co, Tx census as being age 3/12 born in TX. I believe the name Saluda to be fairly uncommon, so this would seem to indicate a connection. Need help from all Busbys.
