Hi, With regards to the Sherad, Micajah & Robert Busby, presumed sons of Nathanial, who moved to TN, my Robert Busbee of Humphreys and Stewart Co. TN. is in the 1850 census, Stewart Co., and is father of David b. 1810. By 1850 David is married and out of the house but listed as living with Robert & Frances, his wife, are the following children that cannot be their children: 1. Quintus Busby b. c1827-the name was difficult to read so may not be correct. 2. Jane b. c1835 3. Emanda b. c1838 - spelled with E 4. Harison b. c1842 - spelled with one r There should be a listing in orphan records that would name the parents... My David of Humphreys Co. TN is the only child of Robert & Frances that I know of and I know these children do not belong to either David or Robert. Are any of you folks looking for these children? As I have not seen any activity on this board regarding Robert Busbee/Busby of N.C. I will post once more his son, David's family. David Busby b. 1810 TN married Lucy b. c1820 TN (Lively, I believe is Lucy's maiden name) and had family: Lively J., b 1840 Robert, b. 1842 Frances, b 1844 Wade H., Sept 1845 Daniel, 1847 David Jr. 1848 all b. TN except Wade b. MS., then had Elizabeth & Susan I believe b. in maybe Fulton Co. Ark. Then when David remarried to a Mary who already had two children, Jensey and Milton.
