The only Busby listed in the Tunica Misssissippi1850 census is S.M. Busby. S. M is married to Nancy and has three children: John W. Busby (age 9), James A. Busbee W (age 6) and Martha J. (age 4). S. M. and Nancy are both recorded as being born in Alabama. John W. was born in Alabama. James and Martha were born in Mississippi. I'm trying to trace this family back to Alabama.
