    1. Re: Maintenance Bonds
    2. Dear Jeff and all: I looked through every genealogy terminology resource that I have and finally just did a general search for "Maintenance Bond" and "defiinition" - as I came up empty handed with terminolgy and genealogy. For some reason, this leads me to believe that possibly they might have been indentured - without using that word. Does anyone else have any ideas? It could also have to do with their maintenance - but for some reason I don't think it would be called that - were they minors? Anyway - this is the insurance terminology and the only one that I could find. Maintenance Bond: A bond that guarantees against defects in workmanship or materials for a stated period of time after the acceptance of the completed work. Karen
