    3. It is fairly easy. They can be sent as attachments and then you just open them like any other attachment or they can be sent in the body of the email. In that case, all you have to do is open the email message to see the photo. Most isp's and users prefer to have them sent as attachments. They take up less space and are faster to send. Understandably, the roots sites do not accept photos. They just don't have the space. Those of us who have the capabilities to send photos will need to send them directly to each other. I bought a canon 4400 and bought the scanner cartridge for it. It is a snap to scan in all the photos I want. Remember, to my knowledge, jpeg format is the best to use. No I don't work for canon. Everyone has their favorites. Again, email me at earle@ncci.net and I will, try, to accommodate anyone who wants to see what I have. I may just create a web page to put them on. If I can figure out which one would be the best to use. I am open for suggestions. Carolyn
