My Matthew Busby line seems to have a very similar history and names but I just can't find his parents or siblings. Matthew was born between 1770-1780, best I can figure. He married into the Tinsley family of Amherst Co VA and moved to Adair Co KY ca 1815. Matthew and Saluda (Tinsley) Busby also had a son named David T and a son named William. Think he might have been named William D Busby. Some of my Matthew's children moved to Carroll Co MO and the others to central Texas. There may even be a slight connection to Illinois and/or Indiana, as well. I have a good amount of info on my line and would like to compare my data with you. If you will look at the Genforum web site under the Busby surname, you will find a lot of my Busby info posted.
