Thank you for the information, DNA is certainly facinating. My closest Ivy connection is to the Ivies in Johnston co., N.C., this is where my family was in the 1750's as were the Ivies. I kind of think there is a connection there and plan to see if I can find any thing after the first of the new year. The name could have been Irby, the many ways Busby is spelled it would not be a surprise that the Ivy spelling is the same. Hopefully more will have their dna tested and this will shed some light on our family connections.
