The submission and analysis of DNA samples for determining the probability of linkage to Busby male lines (the Y-DNA analysis) is generally useful for only males with the Busby family name, who, in their genealogical research, show an unbroken male Busby line (eg, my family name is Busby, my father's family name is Busby, my father's father's family name is Busby, my father's father's father's family name is Busby, and so on), as far back as the research records go. In the preceding paragraph, where I have used the name Busby, it is inclusive of its spelling variants (Buzby, Busbee, Bushby, Busbice, etc).
