I have been doing research off and on for many years now and the busby side has been one of my many mysteries. My grandma Audrey never met her father her entire life and had only met some relatives when her and husband Sam Swartzfager traveled south for their 25th wedding anniversary in 1967. In that visit she was given some school photos of her half siblings and on the back were the first names so that is how I came up with some of thier names. In Dec 1926 when Audrey and Aubrey were born in Monroe, LA, Ruth Nellie and Perry Busby had already Split up and were living seperately and in the process of their divorce. Ruth Nellie told Audrey that the reason they were divorced was because he had met another woman and that the other woman was pregnant with a child that was born only a few months afer her. We were told that other baby was Alfred. Like I said that is just the story we got and never had dates to compare or both sides of t! he story. But it was because of that story that Audrey never tried to connect with her father. I have a tree on ancestry with all of the info I have to date posted that I would love to share with you, I just need your email.
