Likely, there is no connection, but your ggf story sounds like mine. Mine was Algernon Wilkins Buzby, born in PA 1869, but no birth cert. He died in 1905, five years after his son (my gf) Jason Buzby was born in Phila. He also had another son in 1902, named Dudley, but wife Elizabeth thought someone else might be the father. At any rate, as a widow, she remarried a Mr. Petrie, and moved to Indiana-I guess he, being a military man, was stationed there or something.
