HI James is the son of William R., He would have been born in South Carolina and I think he came out with his parents, to Bibb County. Allen and Inman are also the sons of William Reese and Elizabeth is Jame's widow. The second William R is James son, I believe. This William R was a Captain in the CW. Jacob Foreman married one of James daughters: Elizabeth and Middleton McDonald may have married into this family too. William Reese, Snr didn't leave a will but we have been able to determine his family from land deeds, while the family was selling land. I believe those deeds have been posted earlier. Sandra and I were lucky to have found the deeds, because they give us most of William Reese's children and that includes two daughters Charity Busby Schofield and Lillian Busby Johnson, who are our 3rd gr grandmothers. We believe this William Reese was the Reese named in an 1815 will of Benjamin Busby. But we haven't got absolute proof of this. Seems likely, as it is an unusual name.
