Hello All: I have been so lucky this year to find the general outline to my BUSBY Heritage. I have some large gaps to fill on my ggrandfather, Daniel Boone BUSBY. Does anyone know when or where he died? What happened after 1900? I can find no record of him or any of his family in Wilson County, KS. or Shelby Co., IL after 1900. Abram C. BUSBY, 54 KY KY KY; Susanna, 46, OH VA OH; Daniel, 19 IL KY OH; Harriet B., 15 IL KY OH; Cyrus, 7 IL KY OH; Earl, 4 IL KY OH (This is from the printed census book by the Shelby Co. Hist/Gen Society] 1888, 16, January; m. Evelyn Kathleen CLOUGH, Three Rivers, Tulare County, CA. (I have a certified copy of this marriage certificate) They had 4 children; Zinnia, Pansy, Violet, Rose and Forest. Forest was my grandfather. 1898 Tulare County California Great Register of 1898; Daniel BUSBY pg. 20, Kaweah Precint, Age 35, Nativity IL. (IL is where he hailed from, but is not his birth state) Also present is Francis Marion BUSBY pg. 12, Tulare Second Ward Precinct, age 44, Nativity IN. Francis is the son of Phineus BUSBY b. to Mathew BUSBY and Susannah RITCHEY and named after his uncle (Francis Marion, b. to Mathew and Susannah). He is first cousin to Daniel, son of Abram Cade BUSBY. There are other BUSBY family members from this line who settled in Los Los Angeles, CA. 1899, 11, Oct; m. BUSBY, Daniel 38 - RADCLIFF, Mrs. Minnie 27, both New Albany by W. Farrell. (Groom's father/Abe, mother/Susannah Leach; Bride's father/Samuel, mother Sarah Talbert. As taken from the Wilson County, Kansas Marriages 1864-1900. There are marriage records for Daniel's brother Cyrus and Cousin Francis Marion also included to complete the family connection. 1900, Wilson County, KS, Fall River Twnsp. SupDist3, ED 168, pg.3. Daniel Busby listed as born June 1861 in Ill, father Ky, mother Ohio, occup. Farmer. Wife Minnie, 28, born March 1872 Kansas, father and mother b. Ohio-1 child living. Also listed is Byron Houser (Howser) listed as Daniel's step son b. Jan 1891 Kansas, father Kansas, mother Illinois. Daniel's brother John E. Busby and Sister Harriet B. Busby (Maxwell) are also listed on this census. There is also Susanna Busby head of household, b. May 1834 Ohio with Earl listed as her son. b. 1875 in Illinois. *These are all family members
