Would your Long family have any connection to Walker Co GA or Morgan; DeKalb or Lawrence Counties of AL? I'm asking because my Wilson-Nesmith-Woodall-Vest family from Morgan/Lawrence Co AL connected to a few people named Long. Do you know if any of your Long ancestors could be connected. It was your grandfather's given name of Wilson that caught my eye and made me wonder if he could have possibly been named for someone in my Wilson line. Any thoughts about this?
