Jerry, Give me what information you have and I'll try to help. What census rolls are you wanting to see? I have access to Ancestry and FootNotes so I may be able to find something there. I'd need as much info as you have on the ones you think might fit into our two lines. My first known Wilson line is William, ca 1802 SC and wife, Sarah, ca 1812 SC. NAMES OF WILLIAM'S CHILDREN: Benjamin W. E. Wilson (ca 1829 SC); Mary M. (ca 1837 SC); Abbey L. (ca 1838 SC); Martha A. (ca1839 SC); James (ca 1841 SC); Susy/Suzy C. (ca 1843 GA); Jerry M (ca 1845 GA) ; Minerva/Manerva J. (ca 1847 GA); Sarah E. (ca 1849 GA); and Abraham/Abram (ca 1851-1852 GA). At this point in my searches, I can only say there is a connection thru my Long Family line to Alabama & Georgia, but I don't know what counties. My great grandfather William P. Long (born July, 1852) appears in the 1880 Census rolls for Sevier Co, AR, and his birthplace is listed as Alabama. Wife Tamsey's birthplace is listed as Tennesee. In the 1900 Census for Saline, Sevier Co, AR, William P. Long's parents' birthplaces are both listed as Georgia. It's possible that his son, Wilson Buford Long was named for someone in your family line, but I've not been able to document anyone further back than William P. Long. It would be wonderful if we could find him in the earier census rolls for AL/GA, don't you think? Jerry Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
