    1. Judge B. Busby(new info)
    2. Hi everyone, I was able to get some possible new leads on my Judge B. Busby. I thought I would post it and see if any of the names ring any bells. Please remember that Judge was born in 1886 and died in 1932. This BUSBY family is suppose to be in Aiken Co., SC, near the Edgefield Co. line. Judge's parent's are: John BUSBY and Eliza(Liza) ??? supposedly of Aiken Co., SC This is John BUSBY 1st marriage After the death of Eliza, John BUSBY married again. The last name of this wife is German. >From this 2nd marriage, John had at least one daughter named Jessie. >From one of John BUSBY's marriages (which I don't know) John has another daughter named Maggie. Jessie Busby married 1st ?? WALLER and 2nd ?? OUTZ. One of Jessie's husband's was known as Uncle Sele. Jessie BUSBY had a daughter and one of her husband's had a daughter named Margaret. Margaret married ?? AGEE Judge's sister, Maggie married a Charlie KENT or KEMP. Maggie had a daughter named Delores. The last piece of info that I now have is that after Judge B Busby's death in 1932, the only Busby relative to visit his wife and children regularly was a cousin named Suzy POWERS (her married name). Suzy visited once a year and sometimes brought her son Dewey POWERS with her. I hope someone might recognize some of the names, Karen Busby ___________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail. 2. Gaila & Jim Merrington
    3. Hello Everyone Barb Peddicord has organised new GenConnect boards for The Busby list. Visit Barb's Busby Homepage at http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~busby/index.htm See what's on offer. **Will Page** **Pension Record** **Deed Page** **Bible Records** **Biography** **Queries** By posting your information on the appropriate board, we will be able to share information and go back in three months time and find the clue still there. We all know the joys of " I'm sure I have that information somewhere" By posting information to the correct GenConnect Board, we will be able to search. Cousins we haven't met yet, (who might hold the key to the elusive ancestor) might then be able to make the connection. Please join in the fun! Please see my posting below: A Will of Benjamin Buzbee and tell me if you have information to share about this family. Is this the Benjamin that was meant to be 115 years old? 1. Roll Call - Mark and Benjamin Busby enlisted on the same day Revolutionary War
    2. Looking for MARK BUSBY of Fairfield, Richmond County, South Carolina. There was a Mark Busby who fought in the Rovoluntionary War and then a later Mark Busby who fought in the War of 1812. The younger Mark Busby is found on the 1850 Census of Richmond County, South Carolina. He is listed as a planter. I thought there would be a plantation because he gives the value as $5000. on the 1850 Census. Any one researching these families please email me at TallT75501@aol.com thank you Shirley

    3. The only BUSBY I know about in my family is from an 1850 census record of Fulton Co., Alabama. I looked there because my gggrandmother's death certificate gave her father's name as Martin BUSBY. Martin BUSBY b. 1800 in SC; m. Elizabeth, b. 1822 Children were: (as of 1850) 1) Nancy BUSBY, b. 1839 in Mississippi 2) Harriett BUSBY, b. 1842, in Arkansas 3) Delaney BUSBY (2), b. 1 May 1844 in Arkansas; d/ 22 May 1939 in Hobart, Kiowa Co., Oklahoma; m. Wilson Alford WELCH 19 June 1862 4) Mary BUSBY, b. 1846 in Arkansas 5) Sarah BUSBY (twin), b. May 1850, in Arkansas 6) Zachariah BUSBY (twin), b May 1850 in Arkansas And that is all I know of my BUSBY's.
