    2. The Peddicords
    3. Ok, this is one of the reasons you guys need to send the sources along with your data when you submit it to the Busby database. I have neither the time or resources to document all the lines. Heck, I am still working on documenting my own direct lines 8*) What I send out should only be considered clues as to where to find the documents that should be included with your family tree. Nothing is set in stone til you have the document. This is also one of the reasons I have not put on Homepages more family trees. Some of the trees I have on file have no documentation sources with them. All I can say at this point is, if you want them included you are going to have to give out with where you found it. 8*) But back to matter at hand, Pat, this is all I have in the text file. I sent it as was to let Dave know that this was a possible connection and he would have to get in touch with the researches listed as source. I have a note in the file that states the Samuel may not be the father of Balaam as per your email to that effect. I just haven't caught up with my notes in the text files. I will take care of that today for sure. Sorry for being remiss in this. My only excuses are 3 suites of GenConnect Boards, 5 genealogy websites and 6 email discussion lists, yard work, my own research, house work and a new puppy. 8*) Later guys, Barbie gggg!!!! 3. Barbie, As a descendant of Balaam Buzbee, Balaam Jr, I must state that there is no proof or documentation that Balaam's father was Samuel as you have in your notes. If anyone has such a document that states that Balaam was the son of Samuel I would greatly appreciate having it. A will, deed record, bible record, or etc. What you have did come from Lou Miles, who is also a descendant of Balaam. It seems others have picked this up as fact without the proper documentation. Just the fact's, mam. Most of the data Lou Miles has given out on the descendants of Balaam and Nancy Alphin was data that I had researched and given to him. Patrick H. 3. Barbara you are definitely on the right list. Several of us are trying to find that information and see how the Busby's of Crawford, Bibb and Houston Counties are connected. Please be sure to visit the Busby Gen Connect page and look for Seaborn and add your query there. There was a town called Busbyville, and many of the Busbys came from Lexington (Orangeburgh) SC to this area. 1. Website Update
    2. The Peddicords
    3. Hi everyone!!! It been a busy month for sure, getting all those GenConnect boards up and running, updating the homepages, getting a new puppy, doing the yard work, house cleaning, you name it I more than likely been doing it. Have caught up with my printing of Busby emails, add data to the homepages. Which now have a new look, would like all to take a look and let me know how you like them, we even have music to research by. Not all the pages have been changed just some of them. To access the research material just click on the Data on line link and it will take you to the index. Let me know if something is not working, I more than likely missed something so don't be shy, just speak up and let me know. RootsWeb now has Resource Clusters and hopfully all the links are now working. If you find one that is not, please let me know. Enjoy!! Barbie

I have assumed that when you posted to the list that you were offering to help all of us that are researching the Elisha Busby from SC. If I have assumed incorrectly then please forgive me for intruding. I have the following information based on document research: 1. Elisha BUZBEE b:1765 Lexington Dist., SC; d:1840 Madison Co. AL/Walton Co. FL; m:1790 Lexington Dist, SC Elizabeth GUNTER b:1772 NC/SC; d:1871 Walton Co. FL. 2. This couple migrated to GA, then moved on to AL. Finally settling in Walton Co. FL. 3. Children that I could prove as of this date are: Frederick BUZBEE b:1792 Lexington Dist SC d:1888 Walton Co. FL; m:1822 Sarah LIPSCOMB Lexington Dist SC; b:1802 Lexington Dist. SC; d:1865 Walton Co. FL. 4. Spelling variations I have ran into are: BUSBIE, BUSBY, BUZBEE, and BUSBEE. If you could help me piece in the missing links I would be forever grateful. 1. Buzby/Busby Family - In AL
    2. I am researching a Busby Family in Shelby County, AL. I have a Louisa Busby who married Andrew Jackson Roach, her parents are believed to be John A. Busby and Rebecca Jones. Other Children of John and Rebecca are noted as being: Keziah (also spelled Kissiah or Kezziah), Mary, Minerva, Mandred (although my father believes it is Maynard), Rebecca and Martha. (I believe there was also a John A. Busby, Jr.) John is believed to be the son of Meredith (also spelled Meriday, Maraday and Meredit) Busby from TN. Meredith is supposedly the son of Needham Busby of SC. The only other children I have for Needham are Elizabeth and Catherine. My search on this family is new, as I just found the information for my Louisa's parents, which were John A. Busby and Unknown Jones for years. Look forward to communicating with others on this line. Karen
