My AOL has gone wacky on me - keeps logging me off - then I get back online and all the email's are gone. I was reading a posting on Emma Alice Busby. She is my Great granmother's sister. They lived in Putnam Co., IN. Emma was married to Orlando John Gorham. Let me know if I have posted this in the right spot, then I will post more information on the family. Linda RUSSELL Thompson

Hello Larry, I saw your post on the BUSBY-Lrootweb. Was most interested in your "Buzbee" spelling as this is the way my mother's family spelled her last name. Do you have relatives back in Alabama? Do you know how your family got to Oregon. I had a cousin, from here in Mobile, Al, who went out that way and stayed. Please email. Perhaps we could share some information. Judy, At the present time, there are two branches of Busby descendants living in Greene County Indiana. I am from the David Taylor Busby branch but there is another that came from Ohio to here about 25 years or so ago. I have dates and locations on the Busby's buried here. I will be glad to give you what I have or can obtain. You may email me directly at earle@ncci.net or through the site. Carolyn

Hi, I have Busby's in MN. Last known in 2870 in Dodge Co--that is directly west of Rochester, MN and not all that far from the IA border. Afred S. Busby and family lived there for ?? have not traced them further. Contact me personally and we will try to see if there is any connection. Alfred was born in KY as was his wife , some of the children. Other children born in IN and MN. I am a direct desc. of his oldest son. Do you have a death cert for Richard telling the names of his parents? Hi--- I posted meager info in early August, but recently found something new that may lead to my ancestor Leah BUSBY. Leah was b. ca 1738, and married Robert BARKLEY ca 1752, probably in Rowan Co., NC. I have no other leads on her---but--- I have located a John BUSBY in the Salisbury area (isn't that in Rowan CO.?) in 1792. Does anyone have a connection to this John? Maybe traceable back a few years to find a relation to Leah? Thx, Bill Penny MN
Does anyone have information on a Sullivan Busby shown on general census inforamtion for 1820 in Butler Co.,AL. He is not shown in 1830 general census. Dottie

From time to time someone sends in a query who is not a subscriber. If the Subject line reads Subject: Re: {not a subscriber} Daniel Busby you are going to have to reply to them at their mailing address. They will never read it. Thank you Barbie

Sure will Carla. My Grandpa was William A. Busby. His only living son did not have any children so our "sir name" line stops with Haldon. The other branch here in town has a son and grandson to carry the name on, officially. :) Carolyn
