    3. Personal email addresses are not posted because they invite unwanted communications and spam. There is a process called "data mining" by which unscrupulous people browse for email addresses and use them for spam and phishing scams.

    3. I have a query. I hope nobody writes that it has nothing to do with the genealogy of Busby's, because it sure does have a lot to do with my searching! It is very frustrating. Why do the people posting on message board, with family line information, or asking for help, or offering to share, have PRIVATE EMAIL ADDRESSES!!! I can't always go to the message board...and find appropriate place, and answer there. I wish if Rootsweb is going to send it to mailing list, it should have an address to reply to, like the rest of us who joined this list to share info. Can our list Administrator do anything about this? Regards to all, Stella

I am wondering how far back you have gone, with your BUSBY line, and, whether you can explain the use of your name, Michael? My reason for asking this, is that, in previous generations of my BUSBY line, the name Michael has featured, and I wonder whether any possible link may exist. I do not know what has been the commonality of the name Michael, as a personal name, but I reason that where a possibility of a link may occur, it is worth investigating. >From your message above, I have no idea of in which country you are, and therefore, the probability of a possible link, but I think it worh asking, due to the chance, however remote, of a possible link.
