The sister was Rebecca (Becky Ann), born Jan 1854 (Tennessee?), who possibly married first a David Park 5 Oct 1873 Marshall County, Alabama. She married William M. Gilbreath in 1884. They had a son Clay and a daughter. The last my mother-in-law knew of them they were living in Los Angeles. There was a brother, George H., b Jun 1866 (Alabama, Georgia?), who married a Fannie or Sarah in 1890. They had children, all born in Alabama: Mary G. b Jan 1892, George R. b Aug 1984, Willie Ruth b Mar 1896, a boy b Nov 1898, Annie b 1901, Henry b 1903, and Mildred b 1908. In 1900 George and his family were in Jefferson County, Alabama. One record says father b Georgia mother Tennessee, another says both parents born Tennessee. George was listed as a house carpenter. My mother-in-law said he came to Texas once and built a house for Letty and Charles. He was apparently a wonderful cabinetmaker. Letty was born in 1847 and she and Charles supposedly met in Georgia. During the Civil War Union soldiers forced Letty and her mother to cook and feed the soldiers. Letty and Charles Henry Wright were married 28 Jun 1869 in Madison County, Alabama. That’s all I have. My mother-in-law was not real forthcoming with information…I think she feared I would find some of the skeletons in the closet! Every family has some, of course, and I found the one she didn’t want me to find but never told her. She has since passed away so I can’t find out anything else from her, but hopefully we can find a connection between the two families and help each other. Bev
