Hi All... have been looking at the information on Shannon Burris, then the lady that mentioned a Harriet Burris...which triggered my brain. My grandmother had a sister named Harriet..so I got out my copy of a family tree that I have and there was Harriet and Shannon Burris. Someone mentioned that Shannon's parents were Benjamin F. Burris and Jane Johnston...I have more information on the line back further if you don't already have it. I also could give you the names of Shannon's brothers and sisters if you would want them. Benjamin B. Burris and my John Burris were brothers. I believe Benjmin moved to Texas around 1836 with his family. My John moved north to Wisconsin about the same time..maybe a little later, but he was there by 1840. Let me know if you would like more information...send to my e-mail please. Sally
