    3. Hi; Michelle is correct. I have many of the same records she does. Although I can not meet the needed standard of proof, yet, I believe that Benjamin was the son of a William the son of Edward Burroughs (Burrows). The information comes from a set of overlapping and confusing probate records from Kent and Sussex Co. Delaware. Also the 1850 Ohio Federal census for Belmont County. I think that Benjamin also had a brother William. And the elder William may have had a brother Benjamin. One of the Williams may have been killed about the time of the revolution circa 1783.
