Hi All... My brick wall is finding definite proof that my 3rd gr grandfather John Burris born 1765 supposedly in PA. Also, a marriage date for him to Elizabeth McMechen. Believe they were married in 1797, but have no definite proof yet. They had following children: Benjamin, Van, Swerenghen, William, David, Stinson, Lavinia, John H., Martin N., and a half sister with the same name as the first., Lavania.
