Burris son of Theodore Hayes Burris son of Shannon Burris, my son's name is Lorne Hayes Burris. I have the pages from the burris family bible Gussie Flieger, Theodore's sister gave them to me years ago. They say that Shannon died around Ranger Texas and is buried there but i have not been able to find out where in ranger he is buried. I have lots of names and stuff but i have not had the time to sit down and go through it all some of it goes back to virginia and the american revolution. Shannon had several children gussie, bonnie, harriet ,josephine, fount(don't know his real name, bub(nor his), theodore. i know that the boys, josephine, gussie,oh yeah clara, have all passed away. I have a neat picture of Benjamin Franklin on his horse. They are in a book called Texas trail drivers i think is the name i have a copy but not with me right here. Benjamin was in Terry's Texas Rangers company c during the civil war and also a member of the Texas Rangers law enforcement group. I think Theodore was the eldest son he has two sons Ted and Bruce, Bruce has two daughters and I have the one son.
