Mr. Burris had been hospitalized since March 16. Funeral services were held May 7 at the Methodist Church in Ogilvie. Charles Orville Burris was born March 13, 1879, at Coburg, Iowa. Mr. Burris lived in Iowa, Nebraska and Minnesota and had made his home in Kanabec County for 43 years. He was married to Nellie M. McDavitt at Coburg, Iowa in June 1900. Mr. Burris, who was a farmer, had served on school boards, township boards, the creamery board, and as township fire warden. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
