Fay, I guess I missed your reply earlier. thx. however, I wondered if there was any other record that shows Jackson Burris and Lavina Beach as this Matt Burress parents. According to the funeral home record shown below, the mother was unknown. Could this Matt Burress be the same as a Matthew Burris in 1880 TN Campbell Co. census, instead of Jacksons son? Matt seems a short name, more for Matthew than for Madison. Just wondering. Guess I am still hoping that my Madison belongs to Jackson and Lavina. Any info appreciated. thx.
