In rereading your info I see that our "oldest" Burries/Burris man and yours would have been about the same age. Where was your man born? Ours, my husband's g,g,grandfather, william T. Burries, was born in MD, as were both his parents. He died in Franklin, IN, in 1901, at about 70. So, I figured he'd have been born about 1830, or so. We haven't been able to find where he's buried. His wife, Margaret V (for Vandivier, I think) Watson was born in VA, as were her parents. She's buried in Brown Co, IN. There're several unmarked graves in the same cemetery, one of which might be Wm. T's. Wm. T and wife had 6 children, as did one of two of his c'ren. Most of the other generations only had 2 or 3. my husband was an only child, but had 6 c'ren with his first wife. I look forward to hearing from you. Mary Burries mgmmrd@mindspring.com
