If so, I would like very much to know what it was? I'm a descent of Charles Saxon through Captain Lewis Saxon and his son Samuel (1807-1831). Over the years several reseachers in my family believed that Lewis Saxon's father Charles was the son of a Robert Saxon and Judith Graves. Other research seems to point to the fact that Charles was the son of Samuel (d. 1766) in Halifax County, N. Carolina. One of the great family mysteries! Thank you, David Saxon
