This has been a pretty quiet list up to now. Any of you Burns researchers? My Burns family is from Van Buren county Iowa -JAMES WILSON BURNS -was born july 1843 parents unknown. He married Mary Ann Gillaspie 6/19/1869. Nine children-Josephine, Alice Ellen, Rosa Belle, Lydia May, Lunettie,Jessie Geneva Minerva, Eva Francis, Allen Randell and Mary Olive.
