William Burns(b.abt.1856) is my g-grandfather. I know he was a blacksmith in Amenia,NY. Married to Ulreka Lehrmann (b.abt 1862) who was from Germany. He had 3 children - Stuart Burns,Violet Burns (Woodard) and Mildred Burns (Hawks). My problem is trying to find out if William had any brothers or sisters? I know William's parents are David Burnes (sp?) and Eliza Boyd - both immigrated from Ireland. I think David and Eliza lived in the Yorktown, NY area in Westchester Co, NY. Some of my relatives remember a cousin names Margaret Knight and maybe an Aunt Rose from Massechussets. If anything rings any bells, please let me know. Thankyou.
