    2. Hi Dellwand, The oldest info I have on this set of Burns shows them in the northern sections of Spartanburg Co., SC. I haven't traced them further than that. James was b. abt. 1800 and died 1857. Were you trying to place someone older or younger? I don't have complete info on all the descendants but this is what I have. May have a bit more on one of these, if you are interested.
