G.G.grandfather, William Burnes (later changed to Burns) was b. 1816, Ohio, probably northeast area (Warren, Geauga, Lake County.) I have never found any info. on his parents, although his father came to US from Ireland prior to 1806 and his mother was born in Md. William named his only daughter Adelphine (unusual, I thought it might be a family name, it didn't belong to his wife's family) and I was wondering if anyone else had an Adelphine in their Burns family.
