    3. Hello list, I have posted this info here several times before with no luck but maybe somebody new is here that can help so here we go. I am looking for information on Wilson Burns, my g-g-g-grandfather. Wilson moved to Crawford County, Pa. in 1828 with his parents John and Elizabeth Burns. His brothers were William D. , Redding Beatty, John, and Edward Thompson Burns. I have dates of birth, marriage, and death for all of the brothers but not for Wilson. I am missing his date of death. Wilson was born in 1820, married in 1842, a Miss Mary Ann Pike. There children were John, Redding, Angeline, Sylvester, Levina, Myron, Mary, Onvolina, and Amasa. I was able to trace the family through census data from 1850 to 1870. I have been unable to find them in the 1880 census. Wilson's son Redding spent his life in Crawford county and is buried there. Sylvester, who is my g-g-grandfather moved to McKean County, Pa. around 1875-76 and spent the rest of his life there. I would love to hear from anyone who is decended from any of the other children. I am uncertain if they left the state, or maybe they were over come by some epidemic in the 1870's, Wilosn may have died and his wife may hace remarried. I just don't know. The only thing I am sure of is that Wilson was deceased by 1888 when his brother Redding died in 1888. The only surving brothers were John and Edward Thompson Burns at that date. Thank You for your time! John Burns
