I have Oscar married to an Emma. They had 3 children, Lillie 1874, Anna L. 1878 Walter C 1880. Oscar died in Fort Worth Texas, at the home of his daughter Anna in 1931. My grandmother, Annie Jane Mahurin, married William Oscar Burns in Gerty, Oklahoma, in MARCH 1910. tHEY HAD three daughters, Lois, Thelma and Audrey (my mother). Oscar left for Denver, Colorado while Annie was pregnant with my mother, who was born July 1915. Oscar never returned from Colorado, but I have a postcard from him to Annie & Baby on April 8, 1915. By this time, the first girl, Lois, had passed away. -My grandmother and her two daughters came to Arkansas in 1918 or so and she lived in Arkansas the rest of her life. My aunt said they were told that their father was born in Tennessee and died in Denver, Colorado. When my grandmother passed away my mother found pieces of a marriage license that .listed Ana Burns and Oscar Burns as the ones marrying. Do you think this could be the same Oscar? Can you send me info on his pension paper?
