Hello fellow Burns researchers, Just throwing my line in again. Is anyone out there missing a John Burns born circa 1780? John was my g-g-g-g-grandfather. The earlist record I have for him comes from Presbytarian Church records in Crawford County, Pa. in 1828. Through researching his children I was able to determine the family had lived in Bucks County, Pa. in 1810 and they were in Schulykill, Co. New Philadalphia, Pa. in 1826 where there youngest child was born. From an article I was given on one of John's grandsons iut was stated that John's father fought in the American Revolution. His name may have been William but I don't know. Just a guess. I don't know where John was born. Thanks, John Burns
