Finally some Ohio Burns searchers are showing up on e-mail - thank you! I thought I was the only one looking here. Do any of you connect with a Dennis/David Burns born in Ohio in 1830? I can't find out where in Ohio, nor can I locate his parents. He married Nancy Turner in Jefferson County, Ohio in April 1852. (The marriage record lists his name as "Dennis/David," but the census shows Dennis, and one of his descendents was named Dennis). I believe his parents were listed on the 1860 census as being from England, although not sure of that. Dennis does not show on the 1870 census, nor does Nancy remarry, so I'm takign a guess that he may have died, but don't know where. Any possible connections? Thanks, Karen Fergus [email protected]
