Hello all, It has been awhile since I last listed my BURNS history, so here goes once again. The Irish history part was given to me without documentation by an Irishman. Michael m Mary O'ROURKE, he was 28 and she 16, not sure what the date was but first child was b. 1804. They lived in Co. Kildare, Kildare and worked for Lord Browne of Tara. Listed children: Patrick Joseph b. 21 Oct, 1804 Eliza b. 2 Dec, 1805 Catherine b. 15 Jan, 1810 (I question the twenty years between the last two) *William b. 1832 (*my ancestor), d. 16 Oct, 1902, Allendale, (Barre) Simcoe Co., Ontario Edward b. 1834 Wm. went to Canada and m. Elizabeth O'BRIEN in 1860. They had the following chilren: Mary b. 20 Jul 1861 Arthur b. 05 Dec. 1862 Ann b. 08 Oct. 1864 Anne b. 05 Aug 1866 Margaret b. 08 Feb 1869, m Thomas HANRAHAN, 05 Mar 1889, at St. Mary's in Barre, Ontario Elizabeth b. 27 Oct 1870, m (brother of Thomas) John HANRAHAN *William J. b. 20 Jan 1874 (* my ancestor) m Daisy FOX , in MA about 1905, d. 01 Aug 1930 in St. Johnsbury, VT. The name changed to BURNS when he came to the USA. Wm., Sr. married again to Mary WELLS, in 1896/97, they had two children; Louis Theodosun BYRNE b. 29 Oct. 1898 Ursula T. b. 09 May 1901 If anyone knows anything about this family please let me know.
