I am researching the family of Andrew Burns who was born c. 1811 in Ohio. He married Rebecca A. Moore in May 1843 in Adams Co. Ohio. Andrew was apparently married prior to his marriage to Rebecca as there is a son Robert A. Burns, age 9, in the 1850 census. Andrew and Rebecca had the following children: Henry, b. 1844 in Ohio Cyrus, b. 1847, in Ohio Aaron, b. 1850, in Ohio Andrew Murray, b. 1851, in Ohio Thomas, b. 1854, in Ohio Mary C., b. 1856 in Iowa (m. Richard Cheney 1878) Martha J., b. 1858 in IL Sarah E., b. 1860 in Ohio (m. Henry Hileman in 1877) Eveline, b. 1861 in Ohio (m. Hugh Henderson in 1876) John, b. 1862 in Ohio Charles Clement, b. 1865 in Ohio (m. Nellie Sholty in 1893) Rebecca Moore Burns died in April 1865 in Adams Co. OH. Andrew married Jane Moore Stuart in September 1865 in Highland Co. OH. By 1880 Andrew and Jane had moved to Cheneys Grove, McLean Co. IL. Jane Burns died in June 1888 in Saybrook, McLean Co. IL.
