Hi My gggGrandfather came to TN as a young lad. He was born in 1788 in NC (or SC according where the state line was at the time). He had settled in Bedford Co.TN by 1812 when he married my gggGrandmother Margaret Wilson. He stated he came to TN as a young lad. There are three people in my family that is researching this John. We think his father may have been named James but couldn't prove it. Do you have any information on your James that went to TN in 1804? Wife? Children? Brothers and Sisters?
