Jean, I don't have a lot on this Burns clan of mine, but I will send what I have and hope to make a connection, or at least a clue.( one can always hope lol) I start with William Burns, no dates, m. Rebecca Slaymaker b. 1807 Their children: Daniel is mine. He went to Potter Co. from Lanc. and married Hettie Naomi HAINES who was born in Emporium Pa. They lost some family members in a flood while they were living in Austin Pa. ( I don't know whose family!) In the spring they built a raft, and loaded their family and belongings and headed down the Sinimahoning, to the Susquehanna and put to shore at Muddy Run by Holtwood. (It was called Wissler in those days) Henry L. b. 1840 Elizabeth Miller b. 1847 I do not know if Miller is a middle or married name Robert b. 1835 The children of Daniel and Hetty are: Beckie Lowella m. Daniel Eckman Belle who m. Ephram Seldomridge Harry Daniel m. Estella Trimble Elizabeth (My g.grandmother) m. Galen McKinney (another brick wall!) That is basically what I know of this family.
